The Hawsons Corporate Finance team have worked closely with the MFH Group to successfully advise on the disposal of one of their subsidiary companies YouCan Hire. YouCan is a catering equipment and furniture hire company operating across Yorkshire and beyond.
Acquired by Thorns Group on 1st June 2017, YouCan Hire are Yorkshire’s leading events furniture and catering equipment hire company with over 35 years’ experience in the events industry. They are the perfect fit for the leading Hertfordshire based events and exhibitions hire contractor, who, in addition to its Head Office in Hertfordshire, also has bases in Birmingham and Manchester.
After reaching a decision that YouCan was non-core to the group, the business was only marketed for sale in March and a high level of interest was received.
Ongoing core operations within the MFH Group comprise fixed asset maintenance packages, flexible maintenance services and the relocation & installation of all types of industrial machinery, plant and associated services at locations across the country.
