Required for Northampton Office - £ market rate + study support
The Role
To have primary responsibility for audit and accountancy assignments from planning to completion within the framework of an agreed budget and timescale. Maintaining good working relationships with clients and make recommendations for improvements to their business. Allocate, supervise and review the work of audit assistants, giving training where required. Reporting and giving support to Managers and Partners where required.
The Candidate:
Should be ideally ACA/ACCA qualified/part qualified with significant experience in a Practice environment. Have experience of working with a variety of clients mainly in the SME sector and being responsible for jobs from planning through to completion. IT literacy is essential as is knowledge of electronic accounting packages. Will also need to be commercially minded with strong interpersonal skills, drive and determination.

Accounts Trainee
Required for Northampton Office - £ market rate + study support
The Role
To be responsible for the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies from clients’ records, liaising with clients as necessary. Assisting clients with management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping. Working towards AAT qualification.
The Candidate:
Will be keen to grasp new ideas and concepts, willing to learn and able to communicate with clients and fellow staff. Must be IT literate.
Must have three A-levels with reasonable passes and GCSE Maths and English minimum grade C.
