Workplace pensions and auto enrolment

Auto Enrolment

Auto-enrolment advice and guidance

We provide specialist workplace pensions and auto-enrolment advice in Sheffield, Doncaster, and Northampton.

The law on workplace pensions has changed and by 2017 every employer in the UK, including charities and small businesses, must automatically enrol their employees into an auto-enrolment scheme.

If you have at least one member of staff it is your legal obligation and, as an employer, you are responsible for enrolling all eligible employees into your scheme and contributing to it.

The employee doesn’t have to do anything to enrol to their new workplace pension; the employer makes all of the arrangements and could face significant fines for non-compliance.

Since 2012 auto-enrolment has been introduced gradually via employer staging dates. Thousands of employers have already staged for auto-enrolment, but there are many smaller employers who are yet to reach their staging date and who may be starting to prepare for their new duties.

We are here to help you and your business prepare.
