The Government has announced new measures to help businesses through this difficult time. The first being the tax helpline to support businesses affected by coronavirus. If you are worried about how your business may pay their tax due to coronavirus please contact this helpline.
Another measure that has been announced is the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS). Full details about how this loan would work are expected to be announced next week and we will provide you regular updates on how this will work once it is announced. So far we do know that this loan will be conducted by the British Business Bank.
During this time, we recommend that you contact your bank if you have any questions about existing facilities. We believe that many high street banks will have put measures in place to help businesses with their short term cash flow.
